AATIA Nominations – Detective of the Year / Special Investigator of the Year

AATIA is accepting nominations for Auto Theft Detective of the Year and Special Investigator of the Year.

There is no specific format for the nomination.  Please describe on a single page, the accomplishment(s) or the reason why they are deserving of the award, if it was a specific case or something they did all year that stood out above the others.

AATIA Christmas Luncheon

The AATIA Christmas Lunch will be at Dillon’s Lake Pleasant on Thursday, December 12, 2019.
The lunch is for AATIA Members and spouse/significant other. 
 
Lunch Cost:
AATIA Member – $10.00
Spouse/Significant Other – $15.00
RSVP’s/payments will be accepted at the next AATIA Meeting (Thursday, November 21) either by cash, check or credit card.  If you’d like to pay by credit card, please contact me anytime prior to the Christmas Lunch. 
AATIA will donate to a local food bank, we are asking for members to bring canned food donations to the luncheon.

Arizona Auto Theft & Metal Summit

The Arizona Auto Theft Investigator’s Association, Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Vehicle Theft Task Force, Arizona Automobile Theft Authority (AATA) and International Association of Special Investigation Units Arizona Chapter are hosting two and a half days of Auto Theft & Scrap Metal training in Flagstaff, Arizona April 15-17, 2019.   Please see flyer for more details. Grants will be available from the AATA.

About the AATIA

The Association represents Law Enforcement and Insurance Companies that have come together to exchange information and provide training throughout Arizona to combat vehicle theft/fraud. This information and training is one of the greatest weapons that is available to combat vehicle theft. The ultimate goal of the Association is to impact vehicle theft in Arizona by organizing investigators and providing training and information exchange among our members.
